Maybe you didn’t forget it and were just negotiating.

Cynar newbie question: at my local stores I see a 33 proof Cynar and a 70 proof bottle. Which should I pick up TOMORROW! This recipe looks delightful.

Yes, agree with Nick. I have a bottle of 70 — and I almost never use it. Stick with the lower proof original.

The list of things better than Segment Titles on the Reason Roundtable is short but just grew by one entry. This cocktail is delightful. This was my first use of an habanero bitter and Cynar and it is simply wonderful. I love the spiciness and smokiness.

Today’s was just a trial run for a little get-together I’m hosting next weekend so I went lazy on the juicing my own pineapple. I’ll go fresh-squeezed next week.

Thanks, Peter.

Hope it’s not too late but the 33 proof which is the original. The 70 proof tastes peppery and harsh, I don’t care for it despite loving the original.
