I've been using Angostura Orange bitters at home. Is Regan's much different/better?

Angostura Orange is good, but it's much sharper in character, and a little harsher. Regan's smooths drinks out, helping clashing ingredients to work together. I much prefer Regan's for regular use. However, if you end up with both bottles, you might try blending them, 75/25, Regans/Angostura Orange, which keeps the smoothness but gives it a little more pop.

I was just about to order your recommended Nick & Nora glasses from Amazon. not only are they kind pricey on their own but shipping is steep. $50 out the door for 6 glasses. that said, in looking around, most other options on Amazon are that kind of price. so maybe that is the market for these style of glasses

Nick & Nora glasses are all somewhat expensive. If you want to reduce the cost per glass, Libbey makes a 12 set that runs about $67. https://amzn.to/3mbCDoK

If cost is an issue, my main advice is to stick to coupes. Nearly any drink served in a Nick & Nora glass can be served in a coupe glass without losing anything significant. And you can get perfectly good small coupes for roughly half the price of a Nick & Nora.

Thx Peter. Good advice. I just got the Libbey Geo rocks glasses recently. I absolutely love them. The added weight changes everything, imo. And i’m enjoying your 5 part everyday Boulevardier right now! You are my go to resource for my home cocktails at the moment!
